Fucking this.

lol no, just no

So, if I eat a cow I’m morally equivalent to a sexist and a racist? What.

omfg from the guy’s blog who said “fucking this.”

LOL. OP IS AN IDIOT. A COW IS A COW AND IT IS AS TASTY AS HELL WHEN COOKED. If that makes me a bigot  (to a stupid person who can’t differenciate between racism, sexism and killing animals for food) I don’t care.

“Nature is cruel but we don’t have to be. We owe them some respect.” - Temple Grandin
That woman is probably one of the biggest and more respectable animal activist, and she’s not a vegan. What she does know is that animals deserve respect and we should be nice tot he ones that will provide us food. So instead of vegans and PETA activist telling meat eating people that they’re horrible murderous people, they should educate the population. They can’t get everyone to just eat vegetables and fruits and non-animal byproducts, but they can educate about how much better animal friendly farms are. That free range chicken produce richer, creamier, healthier eggs than chicken’s stuck in dirty, cramped coups. That, while free range meat my be more expensive, it’s probably better for you in the long run. That we should respect all animals, even if we’re going to be eating them, and we should make it known that we want the farms we buy from to be kind to the animals they’re going to slaughter.
And to the OP and anyone who agrees with the above image, you need to get your head checked out. Eating meat, just like ancestors have for centuries is no where near comparable to sexism or racism. Eating meat is not a crime and will never be a crime because the nutrients that comes form different kinds of meats are just important to our bodies as the ones form fruits, vegetables, grains, and any other item in the food pyramid.

I am here to reply to all the critics (this is the OP), this is another account which i do not use, so do not respond to me; The picture is interpreted differently. Of course through a normal perspective I will agree that yes, our species are more important, therefore human rights are top list, and they should be. I posted this picture not to compare that racism/sexism/speciesism should taken equal through the law. But it is to express that we are inflicting abuse or causing inequality among a living/sentiment beings. Whether they be in our species or not.  At least that is how i took it. Even if i am vegan, nothing wrong with them, everyone has their choosing of diet and that is let be. Nor do i argue that it will become a crime, it wont.  As for nutrients, you can get the nutrients you need from non animal sources, BUT as i mentioned dietary choices are left to the individual, and i as a individual vegan respect that.

Recap

This Saturday me and JN successfully made vegan pancakes… normal, banana, and blueberry + banana flavors. It was a good day, had a lot of fun, not forgetting my stomach was really happy.

We didn’t destroy the kitchen which was a plus. And we had vegan ice cream which was pretty good…

Sunday i ran 13 mile run. Almost one month until Marathon Time. But also a little less than a month until me and JN possibly do something dangerous again.. looking forward to it.

:) THANK YOU!

Over Analyzing: A Destructive Power

themeisterphilosopher:

The mind is one of the most amazing essences that exist, and we are so lucky to have it. We are humans because of it, and without it we would be robotic and emotionless, but the mind can also backfire.

Yes its terrible, “why do you cause it to backfire?”

This is a question i myself ask, when in reality the question i should ask myself is:

‘What triggers it?’

In my humble opinion I‘d say that doubt is the first and and the strongest drive. When one doubts anything, whether it be a believe, emotions, or any possible idea. One is beginning to analyze what one knows. I do not say this is wrong since it is great help in the thinking process, but there is always a line one must not cross.

Once the invisible line is crossed we enter into a world filled with destructive over analyzing. This is caused by trying to understand something one truly can’t get an answer for. Like when it comes to the future or emotions.

Example:      When a person who loves another, and the person wanders and asks him/herself    ”Will my feelings will be true in the future?”

Here is the first mistake. A person who asks and has a response without over analyzing, thats great. Those who keep analyzing will find a dead end, since one can’t truly know how emotions transform or will ever know the future state of the emotions, one is trying to understand the unknown therefore only leading to a destructive path. Which creates doubt, suppresses the emotions, and in the end (from personal experience) make the emotions dissipate into thin air.

So if life…

themeisterphilosopher:

If life give you lemons but you want orange juice, don’t make the lemonade. This is what is to be done:

1. All lemons which are heavy set and can possibly used as a weapon should be used for this tutorial.

2. Find a “red-light district” in your city.

3. Easy as it may seem, throw the lemons at a hooker until she/he is unconscious, take the wallet and quickly put the cash in your pocket.

Run as fast as you can to your local marketplace and buy a sack of oranges.

This here teaches all the lads and ladies, that if life gives you lemons invest it on a project that will give you what you want. In this case OJ.

Good Day Chaps.

;{I «—l (like the stache?)

Agreed.

This Is Informative, You Should Watch It of the Day: From the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts comes the whiteboarding of experimental psychologist Steven Pinker’s illuminating talk, “Language as a Window into Human Nature,” which asks and answers the question “why do we feel more comfortable being indirect when there is no uncertainty about what we really mean?”
